The weather is changing, so trees are growing in the mountains. Everything looks different now because forests are starting to grow in places that used to stay covered in snow all year round and it’s wild.

Many birds are starting their seasonal trips at different times because the local weather cues they usually follow have shifted. This can sometimes lead to them arriving at their nesting grounds before the insects they eat are even around.
Coastal Erosion Speeding Up
The ocean is getting higher and big storms are hitting the land way harder than they used to. This makes the beaches and the grassy marshes disappear really fast. Without those beaches, the wind and water hit the houses and trees further in.
